"Casey was our Mr. Everything, our starting quarterback, starting defensive back and our best returner. He was just an outstanding playmaker for us.
"Casey's a smart young man. He's the guy that quarterbacks the football team and controls the basketball team as a point guard. He's also blessed with tremendous athletic ability. He just has great ball skills, and has the talent to be a really good cover corner.
"On the field, he was simply electric for us. In a game against the defending state champions, he took an interception back for a touchdown that was right out of the ESPN highlights."
