Posted 138 total tackles, nine QB sacks, six forced fumbles, an interception and two defensive touchdowns during senior campaign... Also played seven kick attempts by opponents in 2007... Accumulated nearly 400 total tackles in varsity career... Helped squad to state players during junior season... Two-time All-State, two-time North Jefferson County Defensive Player of the Year and named to Birmingham News' All-Metro squad... Power forward on varsity basketball squad... "From the minute he walked in as a ninth grader, Jabo has been a great leader for our team. His dad, an All-SEC player in his own right at Auburn, is our defensive coordinator and Jabo is definitely a coaches' son in every sense.
"Jabo really understands the game and knows how to go about things the right way. Plus, he's as competitive as anyone I've ever coached.
"He's still a young kid, so I can't wait to see him after some time in the weightroom up there. He'll be able to handle a lot more weight."
