Accumulated nearly 400 total tackles in varsity career... Helped squad to state players during junior season... Two-time All-State, two-time North Jefferson County Defensive Player of the Year and named to Birmingham News' All-Metro squad... Power forward on varsity basketball squad... "From the minute he walked in as a ninth grader, Jabo has been a great leader for our team. His dad, an All-SEC player in his own right at Auburn, is our defensive coordinator and Jabo is definitely a coaches' son in every sense.

"Jabo really understands the game and knows how to go about things the right way. Plus, he's as competitive as anyone I've ever coached.

"He's still a young kid, so I can't wait to see him after some time in the weightroom up there. He'll be able to handle a lot more weight."
