Joe Fisher, Voice of the Commodores
Joe Fisher, Voice of the Commodores, provides concise and insightful coverage on the Vanderbilt Radio Network. A Nashville native, Fisher enters his 11th season as the team's football play-by-play announcer. He handles similar duties for Vanderbilt men's basketball and baseball. Prior to announcing Vanderbilt games, Fisher was a television sports anchor in the Nashville market from 1987-96, with stints at WSMV-4 and WKRN-2. He also worked two years in public relations. Fisher also serves as Vanderbilt athletics' Director of Broadcasting.
